Everything Stays the Same

Nothing's been happening in stock market world other than creation of wealth for those who stay invested. Unless you are a day trader, in which case you are probably losing more money than you make under the guise of "all it takes is one big winner". Statistics are against day traders and stock pickers, which is why I am not one.

Based on what I'm reading in various newsletters, the gravy train of US stocks may not last a lot longer. But it's anyone's guess as to how far the current bull market will go. I intend to ride it all the way up, until there is a clear and irrefutable signal to get out.

For now, here are the numbers we need to see beat. It's easy, because it's the 52-week (and all time) highs.

Dow Transportations: 9,639.33
Dow Jones Industrials: 21,391.97

As long as the Transportations make new all time highs, the bull market remains in tact, and it's prudent to remain fully invested, taking advantage of dollar cost averaging to wade into the market with new money.
